Cannes Yachting Festival 16

Major ship yards and custom yacht makers look to showcase at Europe's leading in-water show. The Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 kicks off September 6th in the French Riviera. Nearly 600 boats will be displayed at The Vieux Port and The Port Pierre Canto. Both French Riviera ports will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Bay of Cannes while observing the latest and best of the yachting community.

What to expect?   

Vieux Port Cannes will showcase a stunning display of vintage and modern day boats. Exclusively open to exhibitors, owners and collectors of motorboats and day-boats of 12 meters or less. This rare occasion will offer visitors a chance to admire the most exquisite in classic and antique vessels. Nautical enthusiasts and yacht owners are invited to showcase their boats to a panel that includes Annette Roux, president of the Cannes Yachting Festival. 

Sanlorenzo shipyard

The Sanlorenzo shipyard will present eight fiberglass superyachts. This includes the world premiere of the new SL78 motor yacht, featuring a fiberglass hull 25 meters long. 

The shipyard Blu Martin inaugurates the international boat show season with a world premiere. The new model Sea Top 13.90 will be on display for the first time to the general public at Yachting Cannes Festival 2016. Only a few weeks old the new 14-meter Sea Top 13.90 draws inspiration from one of the one of the most beloved classic models of the full range Blu Martin. 

Cantieri Estensi will also be introducing two models for the first time. 535 maine and Goldstar 545. The new ships will represent the recent change that has taken place in the company. The new 535 maine is socialites a dream as 17-meter boat offers significant space for social interaction. The 545 Goldstar is a 17 meters twin to the 535 but with a more elegant touch.

The Sunseeker flybridge model, the Manhattan 52 will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival next month. Afterwards it sails back to England where it will make its UK debut at the Southampton Boat Show.
